I am contacting you today to inform you that the Bluewater Branch of the National Association of Federal Retirees, your current branch, will officially dissolve on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
All members will be automatically reassigned to a neighbouring branch using their postal code. Beginning April 23, 2026, you will be able to log in to your member profile to view your new branch.
At the branch’s 2025 annual general meeting held April 16, 2025, the members present voted to request dissolution by the national board of directors. The board formally approved the branch’s request at its meeting held Dec. 3-5, 2025. Since then, national office staff and branch volunteers have worked together to complete the dissolution process.
Please be assured that this change does not impact your membership with the association or your status with our preferred partners, such as belairdirect insurance. Our bylaws allow members to request reassignment to any branch of the association at any time.
If you wish to be transferred to a different branch, you can do so through your online member profile.
