Join Federal Retirees in calling for better long-term care

Let’s start important conversations about Canada’s long-term care standards — and get them implemented.

The COVID-19 pandemic exposed the cracks in Canada’s strained long-term care system, and more than 18,000 Federal Retirees members joined our call for reform.

Thanks to your support, Canadians realized an important win — national long-term care standards. Unfortunately, these standards are currently voluntary.

That’s why we’re launching the next phase of our campaign. We’re calling on governments of all levels to enforce Canada’s long-term care standards, ensuring only facilities that meet the standards receive funding. And we need you to make it happen.

In February, Federal Retirees CEO Anthony Pizzino’ op-ed on long-term care standards was published in the Ottawa Citizen.

Now it’s your turn. You can speak up for long-term care in Canada. And we’ve made it easy.
