We have an incredible Facebook page! Please join us there to stay updated on programs, services and events in Saskatoon.
Our branch provides service to our membership, which is currently around 1600. The Saskatoon & Area Branch holds membership in the Saskatchewan Seniors’ Mechanism (SSM). We advertise their activities on our website and Facebook page too, as well as those of the Saskatoon Council on Aging (SCOA).
Your voice is important in keeping our activities aligned with member concerns and priorities. Please consider volunteering on one of the branch's committees.
Did you know?
Your Saskatoon & Area Branch board works hard all year long to provide services and products that members enjoy and have come to rely on. For example:
• Do you enjoy catching up on what's going on in Saskatoon by reading the Sage branch inserts?
• Do you look forward to in-person events, such as the barbecue or fall supper?
• Is it important to you that every level of government be kept aware of the concerns of federal retirees?
All of this happens thanks to volunteers right here in Saskatoon!
New volunteers are needed! Please consider what type of volunteer role you are interested in, be it as a friend of the board, to committee work, to serving as a director on the board, there are many opportunities available. Information on the services the branch offers members and board member roles can be found in the panel just to the left.
Our branch annual meeting is coming up soon on April 15 and it will be a great time to start volunteering! If you are interested in being on the board, please complete and submit this form by April 1.
