Quebec welcomes Sylvie Rocheleau as new advocacy program officer

Sylvie Rocheleau, an experienced and active volunteer, is taking on the exciting role of advocacy program officer for Quebec.
 

Federal Retirees is pleased to welcome Sylvie Rocheleau as the new advocacy program officer (APO) for Quebec. Rocheleau, a Montreal branch member, is the Association’s newest APO. 

After completing a master’s degree in economics, Rocheleau held several policy analyst and senior management positions in federal government departments such as finance, natural resources and the Privy Council Office. She has worked on a number of social issues, including the Canada Pension Plan and caregiving. 

Rocheleau retired in August 2018. Since then, she has worked as a consultant for Natural Resources Canada. She also offers homework support services and is involved in setting up an Intergenerational Brigade to bring together seniors and young people.

Rocheleau loves travelling, the arts and camping. She has three children and lives with her spouse in Montreal.
