Federal Retirees wishes to extend its heartfelt sympathies to the families, loved ones and shipmates of those members of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Royal Canadian Navy who were killed tragically in the crash of the CH-148 Cyclone helicopter from HMCS Fredericton on Wednesday, April 29, in the Mediterranean.
“Nova Scotia and indeed all of Canada have suffered yet another serious blow with news of this tragic accident,” said national president Jean-Guy Soulière. “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those servicemen and women who lost their lives in the service of Canada and with the entire crew of HMCS Fredericton.”
