In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Énergie Cardio closed its clubs effective March 16, 2020. As of June 22, 2020, the Quebec government allowed fitness clubs to open as part of their provincial guidelines for reopening.
Énergie Cardio has prepared their own step-by-step guidelines for accessing their facilities. According to the guidelines, the entire network opened in compliance with the Quebec Workplace Sanitary Standards Guide under three main priorities:
- Offer a safe and stimulating environment for physical activity to all members;
- Offer a work environment that will be both safe and stimulating to all employees;
- Offer the necessary support to the population allowing them to maintain optimal physical and mental health.
