Federal Retirees has joined forces with Preferred Partner Tradex and HealthPartners to deliver a pre-retirement course aimed at demystifying retirement for public servants and filling in the gap left by the cancellation of the D001 “Planning for Retirement” course offered by the Canada School of Public Service until 2015.

This two-day course will take place from September 18 to 19 and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days. The fee to attend is $50, which includes materials and retirement forecasting as well as lunch and refreshments. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Don’t forget to share this invitation with any current federal employees or recent retirees you know because Tradex will also be covering the cost of a one-year membership to the Association for all attendees! Your membership supports our work to protect pensions and benefits for federal employees and retirees, and gives you access to useful information and savings to help you make the most of your retirement.

Visit the event page for more information and to register for the course. Registration closes on September 14 but make sure to register soon as spots may fill up before then!
